Five beauty must have make up products for brides.
I just tried Jo Malone’s Vitamin E Lip Conditioner for the first time today and I am totally in love with it so it started me thinking, what are my top five beauty must have make up products for brides and their maids? The five beauty products I am totally obsessed with at the moment…
Of course, number one has to be the Jo Malone’s Vitamin E Lip Conditioner. It may be a little pricey at £23 but I am completely in love. The lip conditioner itself smells amazing and feels great on my lips. It left them feeling soft and very kissable for when the ‘I do’s’ have been said.
The packaging looks amazing and when I get it out of my bag it attracts lots of comments. You only need the smallest amount so it should last ages, I say should. I keep insisting people try it so it might not last that long! Not only do I love this product but the women on the Jo Malone counter were super nice and so attentive. They made conversation, took an interest in me and my work, gave me freebies and wrapped everything in a gorgeous box with a little bow. I left the store feeling very taken care of, as do my lips!
My second product on my beauty must haves for brides and their ‘maids list and something I can’t live without at the moment is Maybelline’s Eraser Eye Concealer. I was introduced to this amazing product by my 14 year old daughter. With three kids and a full time job which includes working nights I need this in my life. Sometimes it’s the only make up I wear on the school run. Don’t judge, I have three kids remember!
Many beauty blogs and magazine articles rave about benefit mascaras and for good reason. I use both Benefit They’re Real Mascara and Benefit BadGal Lash Mascara. I don’t know why I need two different kinds, I just do ok?! I love them both, I love the design of the brushes and the coverage they give. I wasn’t lucky enough to be born with the lashes my sever-year-old son has, life is so unfair, so I have to fake it and this is the best I have found and trust me, I have tried them all.
La-Tweez Pro Illuminating Tweezers are amazing. I love the little light on them with the sparkly button and how precise they are. They even come with a little case to keep them in. They are clearly loved by lots of people in my house as well. I lost my first pair to my teenage daughter who has the most amazing eyebrows ever, Cara eat your heart out, and my second pair my husband borrowed to de-bone the fish we were having for tea! Who does that?!!! Oh well, off to Boots for pair number three!
My final product on the beauty must haves for brides and their ‘maids list is simply cotton buds. Something I feared as a child because my mom would poke me in the ear (kids don’t try this at home) but they have become my best friend. I use them to apply makeup, remove make up and correct errors and or course stick in my ears (just don’t tell anyone, you’re not meant to do it). Anyone who loves winged eyeliner will always have a box to hand, plus an hour or two to spare.
Why not get in touch and let me know what you can’t be without.
